Columbus, Ga. (April 8, 2025) – The John B. Amos Cancer Center will host free head and neck cancer screenings from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, in the June Wright Conference Room (2nd floor of the cancer center).
Head and neck cancers can affect our ability to speak, eat, drink and swallow. If found early, however, they can be successfully treated.
“You’re at-risk if you use alcohol or tobacco, have persistent neck mass or pain in the mouth/throat or are infected with HPV,” said Gregory Foster, M.D., with the Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Family Medicine Center.
